The unique, patented NOMOS ring date in neon orange is a sign of new times to come: The iconic design of Metro nevertheless remains unmistakably Metro. The new dark gray textile strap adds an extra touch of elegance to our latest creation made together with Mark Braun. Metro neomatik 41 Update remains beautifully slender even with a diameter of just under 41 millimeters: The stainless steel case with its fine, domed sapphire crystal glass and the striking wire lugs follow the form of the wrist in dynamic fashion. The techincal complexity is clear to see: The patented ring date can be set quickly and easily in both directions. This is thanks to in-house caliber DUW 6101 with automatic winding and a date mechanism that is also patented. Metro Neomatik 41 Update ticks to the beat of a fast-paced city lifestyle: The slender bezel sets the dial in motion, the design of the ring date is reminiscient of a series of small metro train carriages. Two markers in neon orange frame the current date. Caliber DUW 6101: In all NOMOS calibers, the date ring is placed around the movement. In neomatik date, this caliber is particularly large. The first neomatik caliber with a date mechanism, it remains wonderfully slender. The date display can be made even clearer, and is particularly legible.
